How can i treat Demodex

A tiny anthropod, demodex mites in humans (span. humana demodex) are commonly found on the hair follicles and face. They commonly thrive in the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. Their presence can lead to the damaged of the facial skin starting at the prime of life particular when the immune system has weakened and the mites have increased in number. Skin dryness, severe itching and rashes are the most common indications of the presence of demodex mites in humans. Submitting yourself to a doctor for medical assessment would be a good idea to get the proper treatment.

What to do with demodex mites in humans
• Rub volatile fluids to your hair follicles to bring the mites out.
• Rub alcohol in the same areas after five minutes.
• The symptoms and the mites will be lessened after doing this for three sessions.
• A mixture of 50% tea tree oil and macadamia nut oil can also be used. Apply them on your lashes and eyebrows to kill the eggs of the mites. This will be more effective if you do it three times in a 10-minute duration.
• Dilute baby shampoo in water and use it to wash your eyelids twice per day. To lessen the symptoms, apply the antibiotic ointment prescribed by your doctor on your eyelids. Since the mites are active in the night, applying the ointment at night will be more effective.
• Ointments like pilocarpine gel and Mercury oxide 1% are recommended for home care medications and must be applied at nighttime.
• Use tea tree shampoo and soap for your hair and face.
• Change your linens and pillows regularly.
• Bring your pet to your vet to check is it has demodex mites.

Skin rashes and itching (increasing at night) must be reported to your doctor immediately for early detection of demodex mites in humans.
